Change is in the air!

What does this photo have to do with this post?

Absolutely nothing!!!
I just wanted to share what Charlie and Bobbie look like after they have done a few 360's and ran around like maniacs during happy hour.

It's hard work being a Wombat.

This photo was taken several months ago - these boys are now outside burrow dwellers.

Jindivick Wildlife Care is on the move.
We will be moving to new www premises shortly and you shall be kept informed of the process to make the transition as smooth as possible!

We don't want anyone suffering exhaustion like these two boys!!!

Awesome sponsors

From time to time I come across the most generous people.
At the start of this year I began having lunch at The French Pear Cafe in Drouin every couple of weeks.
Often, I had tiny wombats with me who needed feeding. It is sometimes hard to feed slurping, sucking baby animals without being noticed!
Jaime, who owns The French Pear fell in love with one of those babies.

Charlotte is sponsored by by the Awty family and The French Pear Cafe.

Charlotte came to us as a tiny baby straight from her Mums pouch.
She has now progressed to an outside enclosure to get used to the sounds and smells of the bush.

It is only with the generosity of people like Jaime and her family that I can do what I do - so a great big thank you to you Jaime.

New family members

Well with a combination of busy -ness, lots of calls and rescues, kids, life and blogger not working properly - we have returned!

We have two new members in the family - Mandi-Lee and Mouse.

Mandi-Lee came to me while I was in a workshop learning some new crafty skills from this lady - so she had to be named after her.

Hope you didn't mind Mandi -Lee!!They are gorgeous little girls and such a joy to have around.
As Ringtails are a colony animal we have another little girl, from another foster carer, arriving on Thursday.

Mandi and Mouse are Ringtail possums and they weigh approx 100gms each.
These photos are of Mandi-Lee, I will post photos of Mouse and the new arrival when she arrives!

It has been very busy time with baby Galahs and Magpies. Some successful and some not.

For anyone in the local area I am having a stall at the local Jindivick Farmers market at The Barn On Jacksons in Jindivick on November 21st from 8am till 1pm.
Come along and say Hi and pick up your glove box Wildlife First Aid kit. I will also have some of my wildlife cards there to purchase.

A very big thank you to Mary-Royce and John from Jindivick who donated us a massive amount of cyclone fencing which has made our Wallaby enclosure a little closer than just a dream.

Cheers from here!
